About NCPHWR and our data contacts
NCPHWR is a research project based within Swansea University. NCPHWR is governed by all Swansea University policies and procedures and is monitored under the Major Projects board reporting framework of Swansea University. Swansea University is the Data Controller and is committed to protecting the rights of individuals in line with the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What information do we collect and how will it be used
1. Staff and project researchers:
Individuals directly employed by NCPHWR at Swansea University or those named on NCPHWR research grants are considered as NCPHWR staff. The data controller holds personal data on employees. This is held under performance of contract.
In addition, the following information will be held by NCPHWR and included on the NCPHWR mailing list:
- Name and job title
- Email address and telephone number
- The name of your organisation, institution or place of work
2. NCPHWR Newsletter
This data is held under specific, explicit and recorded consent which can be withdrawn at any time. The following information will be held in MailChimp ‘NCPHWR MAILING LIST’:
- Name
- Email address
- The name of your organisation, institution or place of work
- Preferences in relation to the information you have consented to receive from NCPHWR
Your data, which will be held in MailChimp, will not passed onto any third party. Your data will be used solely for the purpose indicated above for the term of the NCPHWR project. 3. Contact Us Form
Your details will be held in our CRM system. Please note that we will not share your details with any third party. NCPHWR will aim to respond to your enquiry within 5 working days. Should an on-going relationship be established, then we will seek further consent from you at that point.
